For over 13 years, DJ Empress has been smashing clubs worldwide. This native New Yorker has toured all over Europe and Asia many times & has also played almost every major city in North America (I <3 LA), including all over Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. I was also the First DNB DJ ever brought to Macedonia & Tahiti. Residencies (past & present) include-- Testpress Sundays (NYC), Konkrete Jungle (NYC), Ignite (NYC), Eklektic (San Francisco), Hostel (London) & was a regular for over 10 years at Movement (London) She's a veteran DJ, Producer & Vocalist who's devotion to music, revered sets and relentless ambition has sustained her esteemed global reputation. Production/Engineering credits include a remix of the Roy Ayers classic "We Live In Brooklyn"- entitled "Brooklyn Baby" (which was recently licensed to the HBO film "Life Support" staring Queen Latifah & produced by Jamie Foxx, written & directed by Nelson George), 4 songs off the last Blondie LP "The Curse of Blondie" on Sony UK, remix work for the band Sonny Boy, a collaboration under the name Triadd (with Ufo! & Dj Sage) on Skunkrock Recordings UK, a mix CD on Topaz Records entitled "Stateside Sessions", all the songs on her page and other Drum & Bass, Metal, Industrial, Downtempo, Electronica & Electro songs written in LOGIC PRO. |
